The conference, held in Delhi from 6-8 January 2005, brought together some of the leading minds on the subject from all over the world, and from a variety of disciplines and backgrounds – law, anthropology, media theory and history, economics, computer and information sciences, medicine, new media practice, contemporary art and social activism.
