It's heartening to see a pop-culture figure like Crichton taking on the US
patent behemoth...I am sure most people would otherwise not haev heard
about Metabolite...Everyone but the patent lawyers, the law courts in the
US and the USPTO realises that the US patent system is a joke, maybe this
is an opportunity for them to start stepping back from the brink of
ridiculousness...then again, maybe they'll use it to gleefully leap off
the brink and plunge right in!
