Here is the info you requested before I can join cr-india mailing list.

I am a PhD student at Ohio University in the School of Telecommunication 
focusing on Communication for Social Change. I am keep to look at various 
mass and interpersonal communication channels that can be used to inform, 
educate and empower people. My specific interest is in prevention of HIV 
among young people and I am also looking at how participatory tools can be 
better developed to meet young people's sexual health information needs. 
Thus my interest in community radio and its potential as a participatory 
channel for communication.
I got to know of this mailing list from the DEVMEDIA Listserv and the 
Comminit wedsite.
