[cr-india]FCC finds no interference from LPFM

Complaints about intereference from LPFM is hardly a problem in
India yet but this report should be very useful when someone
raises a technical objection to low power FM.

In 2000, the US Congress mandated 'third-adjacent channel 
spacing protections' for LPFM which considerably reduced 
the number of available channels for low power broadcasts.

This week the FCC published a report on the interference that
such low power station could cause to existing station. The conclusion
(in part):

    Based on the measurements and analysis reported herein, 
    existing third-adjacent channel distance restrictions should 
    be waived to allow LPFM operation at locations that meet all 
    other FCC requirements [after four small revisions]...
