Rythu Vani, a new programme for farmers of Ranga Reddy
District, Andhra Pradesh, was launched on the medium
wave of All India Radio on 24th November 2003. The
National Institute of Agricultural Extension
Management (MANAGE), Hyderabad is managing the
programme which will be broadcast for one hour daily
in Telugu at 6.30 am, 12.50 pm and 6.25 pm.
The content would relate to agriculture, horticulture,
animal husbandry, rural development, agricultural news
and other aspects. The programme will cover a radius
of 50 km.
