Mitu Varma of Panos had circulated some news stories about community radio staions in Nepal, and I asked her how many of the new private FM stations in Nepal were actually CR stations. Here is her reply. (Kanak is Kanak Dixit of Himal who, during a recent workshop in Delhi, had spoken of the burgeoning number of CR stations in Nepal)
