If a Cabinet Note on CR has already been prepared, as the ToI report suggests, and is being sent for approval soon, there isn't much that we could do at this stage. The draft CR Policy was circulated among other Ministries for their comments a month or two ago, and Cabinet approval is pretty much the Fourteenth Station of the Cross. This is the brief interval between death and the general resurrection, as Cardinal Newman might say, a time for holy dreams and soothing contemplations while we gather strength to ascend the heavens.
