Just fyi for newbie listmembers - Steve Dunifer is one
of the pioneers of the free radio movement worldwide,
someone who has dedicated a large part of his life and
work to making this tool inexpensive and easy to
access for millions of people worldwide. It echoes the
spirit and dedication of the work of our own Prof JC
Bose, who demonstrated the first outdoor radio signal
110 years ago in what is now Kolkata, and presented a
paper at the Royal Society in London even before
Marconi was granted a patent on the technology.

Please do visit the site and see for yourself the
tremendous capabilities of the Free Radio Berkeley
designs.
