Dear All,
I was searching for funding opportunites in the NIC website,but failed to trace
one appropriate for approaching for our CB radio project.Given the project
amount needed I was confident that we can be successful in getting the required
amount from the Indian government sources alone.
So far I have searched the websites of ministries of IT,S&T,HRD,Rural
Development and Planning Commission's directory of project funding for NGOs.I
found that GOI has very little funded for ICT projects and none for a CB
project.The case of not funding of CB Radio project is understandable,but M/o
I&B should create the appropriate schemes for funding of such projects.But this
does not happen.It is evident that the authorities of M/o I&B has not consulted
well with thier counterpart ministries(I am suggesting rural development)in
developing the CB radio proposal.Had they consulted with the later,this ministry
shall be able to devise a scheme.
I want to know whether we can approach M/o S&T which has funding schemes in
science poularisation etc.I want to know whether they could consider a CB radio
project for science poularisation funding.Obviously,we will be developing
innovative content bank in association with science education experts on science
education,this will be the only one aspect of the variety of programmes we will
be developing.
Anyway,I am requesting your opinion on funding opportunites and suggestions,or
in any other matter.
