For this sector, it seems that licensing is not under question, at least
for Internet radio and Cable-FM-Audio. Arun Mehta and Vickram Crishna
have already written in the public domain about this. The question seems to
be about finding the communities organically suited for this sector and
the financial & technical bootstrapping to operationalize several cases of
this.
Again my assertion is that this sector can develop on its own and
regardless of whether sectors A and B are moving forward or not, even
though inter-linkages exist. There needs to be a passionate bunch of people
who WANT this for their communities.
Arun/Vickram - perhaps you can summarize for us where exactly that is
headed and what the challenges are.
Summary:
My feeling is that the people who are the key spokespeople/stakeholders
for their respective sectors need to evolve their strategies towards their
next
steps. If anything, the group as a whole needs to stay coordinated and not
diverge.
