Sun Network to enter FM market

  
 Chennai - Having established itself as the leader in the southern 
television channel market, Sun Network is now gearing up for its FM 
foray.
All the four FM stations, for which the Sun Group got the licenses, 
are set to go on air in June this year. These stations will operate 
from Chennai, Coimbatore, Thirunelveli and Vishakapatnam.

While Sun's Chennai FM channel will use the Doordarshan tower, the 
group is in the process of erecting 150-metre high towers, one each 
in Coimbatore and Thirunelveli. In Vishakapatnam, the group is 
erecting a 45-metre tower.
