Freedom Foundation – Hennur – HIV/AIDS unit
1) On 1st Dec, from 10.30am- 9pm -- 8 sessions of Awareness at Dell computers for drivers, house keeping, security and other employees (Nearly 800- 900 persons).
2) From 1st to 4th Dec, from 9am- 6pm, More than 1000 employees of MICO will be sensitized.
3) Positive Children from FF are taking part in the event at Delhi on the 1st of December, by giving a dance performance along with Actress. Mona Singh. Bollywood stars like Shilpa sheety and Rahul bose are also performing to raise awareness on HIV/AIDS. This is organised by Heroes project. The President of India will be attending.
4) HIV Positive Children will performance at various HSBC units at their community event.
5) 200 tailors & helpers from Raymond’s will be given awareness.
6) Apart from this major events, all the remaining are groups from institutions, colleges, other NGOs and individuals getting sensitized on the premises of all Freedom Foundation units during the month of December.
We are having sports day during the first week of December for all the Clients and staff.

World ids Day
Freedom Foundation has delivered PPTCT (Prevention of Parent to Child Transmission of HIV) services in partnership with BMP hospitals for the past 4 years .The services were rendered regularly and consistently. About 70,000 Antenatal clients have received counseling and Testing, through the centres run in the 19 Hospitals of BMP . Nearly 300 positive pregnant women have registered with the project. 92% of babies have tested negative for HIV through this intervention.
For this World AIDS Day , 1st December 2006 , FREEDOM FOUNDATION in partnership with BMP HOSPITALS , is organizing a rally , with pamphlet distribution , ending at corporation compound with a street play . The rally begins at 9 .00 am at MG Road near Gandhi Statue and is expected to end at the Corporation Compound by 11 .00 am with a street play .
FREEDOM FOUNDATION BELLARY – World Aids Day – Cycle Rally
No of participants – 250 (students from Veerasiva Degree College, ITI, Municipal Jr.College, Vasav Pharmacy College and Nursing Students.
Event is conducted in coordination with Health and Family Welfare Department- Bellary AIDS Prevention Society, CHARKA Project and other NGO.
The rally will cover approximately 15 kms, small flags with the write up “Freedom Foundation Bellary – World Aids Day – Dec 1, Stop Aids – Keep the Promise” fixed to two hundred and fifty cycles and big sized balloons with the red ribbon marked on each will also be fixed to the cycle.
50 autos with posters and mike announcement related to AIDS The Autos will follow the cycle rally.
Around two hundred balloons with a pamphlets of Freedom Foundation Services attached will be distributed to public.

Freedom Foundation - Goa
To commemorate World Aids Day we planned the following events: Since the international film festival is being hosted in Goa, in collaboration with GSACS we put up 2 stalls from 25th November to 5th December .Besides distributing leaflets and answering peoples quires we organized a quiz competition for the public .We had a overwhelming response of about 1200 people participating. On the 1st of December, Goa State AIDS Control Society is having a State program which will be attended by the Chief Minister and Health Minister, various heads of department from Goa Medical College and all the NGOs working in the field of HIV/AIDS. After the state program some of the staff of Freedom Foundation will be distributing leaflets with regard to HIV/AIDS, our centre and services at the Film Festival. At the FF Giri (Mupsa) centre, we are offering a special prayer service for all our patients both living and those who have passed away as well as their families and near and dear ones.
This will be followed by various interactive games, sharing of their milestones achieved, lunch, and distribution of a hamper and the screening of a movie with a social theme. On the 1st of December in collaboration with the Institute of Hotel Management we will be organizing an inter college meet - ATTITUDES with the theme Your ATTITUDES are contagious! Is it worth catching? We have chosen to work with the youth as they are the most vulnerable section of the population, and their curiosity and exploratory nature, puts them at high risk. The day will begin with the inaugural function. The Chief Guest the Director of GSACS along with all college students will release red heart shaped balloons. The entire event will be covered by the media. The morning session will begin with presentations in any form of expression on the theme- Stop AIDS keep the promise - Accountability which will give them an opportunity to express their opinions and views, which are beginning to make a d

fference in society. Since the youth of today will eventually have to face the task of combating this deadly disease. This would be a good opportunity to steer them in the right direction towards preparing them for the challenge ahead.The second half of the day will comprise of various competitions such asT- Shirt painting competitions on the theme HIV/AIDS – our response; Just a Minute – one minute games which will focus on physical skill mental ability and talent; Brain Buster – quiz competition , Mad Ad and Creative Eye

3.YASMEEN and WASEEM - Counselling and Screening
4.SWAPNA- FMH-Display of the literature, posters,pledge. Later counseling. Information desk at the waiting lounge.
5.VANITHA- Dangoria Charitable Trust- Awareness program, A talk on World AIDS Day and its significance, Display of the literature, posters. Later counselling to ANC women.
6.CHARY - Program at Pan Bazar UHP, prize distribution by Dr.Rekha to the participants(ANC) of Rangoli competition held at 2 communities.
