Dear Friends –

We -- Emmanuel and Jaggi from Montreal (Quebec, Canada) -- are beginning to
work on the second part of our radio series about the rise of community
radio in India for CKUT Community Radio.

Our first show is linked at: http://www.radio4all.net/proginfo.php?id=22768

For our next show, we are hoping to highlight the community radio projects
that are being proposed and organized now, and to provide a space for people
to talk about those projects and their motivations.

So, we are writing you to ask:

--> Can you share examples of actual community radio projects that are being
launched, either through the formal MIB process, or circumventing that
official process. <--

Ideally, please pass on e-mail or phone contacts of the groups and
individuals who we could interview about their projects.

We want to get a sense of the different uses of community radio, and the
diversity of projects, and are hoping to do interviews in the coming weeks
and months. We especially want to make sure we can give voice to those
communities that are traditionally marginalized in India (adivasis, dalits,
women and others).

Please e-mail us at emandjaggi at gmail.com with any contacts or information.

Thanks for your help.
