[cr-india] Our Status of application for establishing CRS

Dear Friends,



            Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has published the 
status of applications received by the Ministry and the present position of 
each applicant in their website http://mib.nic.in/CRS/crs271107.htm.

            We wish to write for some clarifications regarding the position 
of our organization which is confusing.



The List which provides the status has published all the applications for 
CRS received by the Ministry as on date.   The list has indicated that a few 
organizations have been issued with Letter Of Intent after getting 
confirmation from three Ministries viz., WPC, Ministry of Home Affairs, and 
Ministry of Defence.   If all these three Ministries have given clearence, 
then the Letter Of Intent is sent to such organizations.  But there are 
certain organizations which have got LOI have been cleared only from two 
Ministries  viz., WPC and Ministry of Defence (MOD).



People’s Association for Rural Development (PARD) name appears at Sl No 10 
in the list and is yet to get the LOI.  Our organisation has also got 
clearance from WPC and MOD and is pending with the MHA and our enquiries 
from all the possible ways inform us that we have not been provided with LOI 
as our organisation has not got the clearance from MHA. We have not 
understood the processing of applications as there are organisation in 
similar status like ours have got LOI and we were not provided.  Also there 
is an uncertanity when our organisation will get the LOI.



We believe that LOI is given when clearance from all the three Ministries is 
obtained.  We do not know the exact procedure for obtaining the same (when 
clearance is still pending from one of these Ministries)



We shall be grateful if our Forum could explain the procedure in this 
regard.  We have been eagerly awaiting our LOI to commence the project in a 
rural pocket in Thirumangalam Block in Madurai District, Tamilnadu.
