Dear Jean, Ganesh, Vickram
I remember Sajan had put the notice of the UN-MIB National Consultation four
days back on cr-india inviting applications to attend the meeting:
"The government in collaboration with United Nations is organizing a
National Consultation for CR broadcasters on 6 & 7 March 2007 in New Delhi.
The details are given below.
Those interested in participating can download the selection form at
http://www.un.org.in/SelectionForm.doc
and mail it to nationalconsultation.cr at gmail.com ."
Did any of you guys apply? What was the response? From the Agenda they have
sent me, I can see that they have invited quite a few out-of-delhi (and
grassroots) people to either present of moderate sessions. Vinod Pavarala(SN
School) , Ashish Sen(Voices), Preeti Soni (KMVS), General Narasamma & PV
Satheesh (DDS), Balakrishnan (Namma Dhawani) and myself (Drishti) are some
of the speakers/moderators. Also, the Convener of the Communtiy Radio
Forum has been asked to write and present the "CR programming guidelines". I
(with a lot of help from Vinod, Ashish and many others) am drafting it now
and would be happy to get inputs from anyone on this list.
