  Can someone tell me where to find a brief description on radio technology for laypersons (non-technical) somewhat on following lines?
  1. What are radio waves? What is frequency?
  2. What is short waves, mediaum waves, long waves?
  3. What is FM? 
  4. What is MHz? What is the meaning of say 94.3MHz?
  5. What is transmitter & power of transmitter?
  6. How the same frequency say 94.3 MHz is allotted to in different region - say Mumbai & also Delhi? 
   
  Such and many other basic queries come up at community level meetings. So can we build a simple FAQs?
