Dear All,

The two-day Consultation on CR organized by the MIB-UN has got over. 
You will hear more about the outcomes from Fred:-)

The Community Radio Forum was asked to work on and present a Code of Pratice
and Ethics that can be followed by all potential CRSs. We have worked on
this a bit and will be soon putting up a basic draft on this group for all
of you to suggest and comment. 

The CRF held meetings outside the formal space of consultation to discuss
the possibilities of regional consultations. We are very to say that several
organizations came forward to express interest and willingness in holding
such consultations. These are:
1. Drishti, KMVS - for Gujarat, Rajasthan 2. DDS, Dhan Foundation - Andhra,
TN, Orissa 3. Voices - Karnataka, Kerala 4. AID - Jharkhand, Bihar, Orissa
5. SUTRA-Himachal Pardesh, Ladakh 6. Ideosync- Uttranchal, UP

This list is by means is closed or final. /Groups interested to join in
please contact these groups and work together on the agenda, design etc of
the regional meet.  

So friends..a lot of action on CR in the coming few months.
