[cr-india] Call for contributions for the AMARC Asia Pacific Women's Special Issue

Dear friends, 
 
I would like to announce that the upcoming issue of the AMARC Asia
Pacific e-Newsletter will be a Women's Special Issue. In this regard, I
would like to invite you to send in contributions. We are soliciting
features, interviews, and information pieces of the following types: 
 
1.	Successful case studies that highlight the role of women in
community radios; 
 
2.	A list of "who is who" in the community radio sector of your
country. This list should include information about women and
organizations that are promoting the role of women in community radio.
The information should be under the following headings: 
 
*          Name of person
*          Name of organization
*          Geographical area of activities
*          Contact details of the individual
*          Contact details of the organisation if it is separate than
that of the individual
*          Main activities of the individual (in less than 50 words) 
 
We want to have stories about women in community radios that are active
at the grassroots and were empowered or empower others through community
radio. 
 
Please include photos depicting activities of the individuals.  
 
3.	Interview of women that are pivotal for the development of the
role of women in CR in your country; please try and include photograph
of the interviewee. 
 
4.	List of organizations that help women CR broadcasters in
capacity building in your country/region 
 
 
Your contributions must reach the AMARC Asia Pacific regional office by
23rd of March, 2007 by email (suman at wlink.com.np

AMARC Asia Pacific e-newsletter has invited Ms. Bianca Miglioretto,
Women's International Network (AMARC-WIN) representative for Asia
Pacific as the guest editor of the Women's Special Issue. Final decision
of accepting contributions will be made by the guest editor. 
 
Finally, We would like to invite you to visit the March 8 Website of the
Women International Network of AMARC
(http://march8.amarc.org./index.php?l=ENJ) and download and rebroadcast
some of the many interesting stories and radio plugs in different
languages from women around the world that you find there.
