Dear Members,
A news has come that the BBC has tied up with Vivek 90.4 FM, Chandigarh's
first Community Radio initiative which I am sure all you must have noticed
in media.
Well, I thought over it and done some research and came with
http://defindia.net/section_full_story.asp?id=702
wherein I have raised the question that does the development not violates
the very essence of CR initiative of content creation with the active help
of local populace and what about our local languages/dialects if the rural
folks are also to be bombarded with *'Top of the Pops'*.
I want the thought to be shared among all community radio enthusiasts and so
the posting.
Please put on your thinking caps on this issue.
Thanking you.
with regards,
Pritam Sinha
Content Co-ordinator with
Digital Empowerment Foundation, New Delhi.
