Dear Members,

Greetings from Yerala Projects Society, Sangli!

We are a NGO working for the development of drought prone villages of Sangli
district.  We are starting Community Radio Station at village Jalihal (bk)
Tal: Jath Dist: Sangli Maharashtra India.

 Name of the station is "Yerala Vani"  91.2 FM
 Punch line : "Let's talk about development"

Inauguration ceremony is organised on 31st July 2011.   Eminent social
worker Dr. Abhay Bang, Mr. Laxmikant Deshmukh IAS , DC Kolhapur, Mr. Ashwini
Mudgal IAS CEO ZP Sangli  are going to enaugurate the station. We have used
Numad make 50 W tramsmitter. During the test broac cast we have received
very good quality within 20 Km radius.

Dutch commercial artist Mrs. Ellen Kenter (yojana [at] kunis [dot] nl)  have
designed logo for the station this is her generous contribution to the
station!
