Greetings from Manthan Award Secretariat, New Delhi, INDIA!



Community Radio stations serve geographic communities and communities of
interest and it has been a major part of the development tools these
days. In many parts of the world, community radio acts as a vehicle for
the community and voluntary sector, CSR initiatives, Govt. initiatives,
agencies, NGOs and citizens to work in partnership to further community
development aims, in addition to broadcasting.



This is an invitation to all the Community Radio to participate in
the Manthan Award 2012 for your various ICT based initiatives under the
category of ‘Community Broadcasting’. Last date for nomination is 31st
August 2012.
