I think two significant announcements would be of interests and worth
waiting for:
1) Reduction of channel spacing from 800 KHz to 400 KHz
2) Reduction in license area/circle - 20 for urban, 30 for semi-urban
and 50 kms for rural areas. (Its now 100 regardless of location)
Once these two announcements are formalized, then it should be worth
applying again.
best,
Ram

An organisation known to us - the Delhi Shramik Sanghatan - had applied for a licence (through an affiliated NGO, KISLAY) about three years ago and was told, at the time, that there was no further spectrum available in Delhi. Wouuld this still be the case? Or might they get a more positive response if they filed now?
