*Odisha: Community Media Expert N. A. Shah Ansari elected as Vice President
of Community Radio Association, India*

Report by Odisha Diary bureau, Bhubaneswar: Noted Community Media Expert &
Social Activist N. A. Shah Ansari has been elected as Vice President of
Community Radio Association, India. Mr Ansari was also acting as Vice
President of Community Radio Association last year.  This nomination was
uncontested and unanimously accepted by the members of CRA from different
states. This is to inform that Mr Ansari is the Founder member of CRA. He
has taken commendable role in promotion of Community Radio process in the
country.  In his guidance the first community radio of Odisha Radio
Namaskar  is established at Konark in 2010 & sucessfully continuing its
broadcasting. He is also editing & publishing the first community newspaper
of the country i.e. Namaskar, follows each reader is reporter concept which
is innovative in nature. Verysoon the first community television of the
country Namaskar Community TV  will be functional from Konark. Media
professionals have congratulated Mr Ansari for his such nomination.
