[Reader-list] Shocking plagiarism by Ghulam Nabi Khayal (famous Kashmiri journalist)

Ghulam Nabi Khayal is well know in Kashmir as a veteran poet, writer, research scholar, journalist. He received the Sahitya Akademi Award in 1975 for "Gaashir Munaar (Essays)". Currently he is Editor-in-Chief of "Voice of Kashmir".   More BIO info given below.
"Greater Kashmir" of 27/06/2010 has Khayal reviewing two books in the piece "Two books, two authors - Both are significant in their own right - THOUGHTFUL THOUGHTFUL". 
Being somewhat familiar with the caliber of Ghulam Nabi Khayal I was quite impressed with some of background details he has included. Impressed but uncomfortable enough to be suspicious.
Web-searches revealed shocking plagiarism by Ghulam Nabi Khayal; Word by Word; Punctuation-Mark by Punctuation-Mark with some minor exceptions. 
1. Complete Paragraph No. 3 plagiarised from 
    (starting with)     Plato's Republic is a piece of philosophic literature written around 380 BC in Ancient Greece by this Athens-born philosopher who was the teacher and mentor of Aristotle............................. (ending with)      Plato says that the best form of government is a type of aristocracy where the philosopher-kings rule.

(ending with)      Of course, the best known works in this genre are the twenty-three dialogues written by Plato, of which the Republic is an important example.

Currently he is Editor-in-Chief of "Voice of Kashmir" and is credited with having started the first Kashmiri weekly "Wattan" in 1965 followed by "Iqbal" in Urdu. He has also worked as J&K correspondent for National and International media ( India Today, Statesman, TIME, The Guardian, Voice of America, Illustrated Weekly of India etc)
Besides being on various cultural committees, he is currently also a member of the Advisory Committee of the Allama Iqbal Institute of the University of Kashmir and it's Urdu advisory Board.
