We are writing to you on behalf of the Trade Union Solidarity Committee,
Mumbai, because you are a supporter of workers' struggles for justice
everywhere. In order to raise funds for the unrelenting struggle of the
workers of the Maruti Suzuki plant at Manesar, the TUSC has produced
postcards of 26 different paintings of world famous painters to be used as
All these paintings portray the life and struggles of the working people.
These paintings, 13 in Black and White and 13 in colour, cover works of Van
Gogh, Diego Rivera, Kathe Kollwitz, Chittaprasad, Somnath Hore, Zainul
Abedin and others. The suggested donation for each black and white card is
Rs.10 and for the coloured cards is Rs.12 each. (We suggest, for
convenience's sake, that these cards be distributed in sets : each set of
13 black and white cards for Rs.130/-; each set of 13 coloured cards for
Rs. 150/-). These cards can be used to send greetings to friends or even as
