'Juxtapositions' is an innovative photographic exhibition relating the
History of Indian Labour Migration in the Indian Ocean. The exhibition
juxtaposes traditional depictions of the colonial Indian diaspora with
material from project research that counters traditional narratives, and
also features stunning art prints composed from 19th century portraits of
Indian labour migrants. It will be held at CSDS from 26 March till 2 April
2016.
