Hi All
*Many of us with the Right to Information movement all over India would have
celebrated with the activists who were on hunger strike (ANNA HAZARE), and
the others at Jantar Mantar including MEDHA Patkar & ARUNA ROY and all the
others when the Govt called off the propsed move to introduce amendments to
the RTI Act 2005 (to remove FILE NOTINGS FROM THE PUBLIC PURVIEW). the VIGIL
CONTINUES ? for the Parliament Winter Session*
*Well coming to another issue about Urban Governance - the "flagship scheme"
of the UPA- GoI *is proposing the "*JANAAGRAHA PARTICIPATION LAW". *Lets
discuss this ?? Since the views below are mine I am not being very
particular about exact names and titles etc
Is it clear whether when Nagara Raj Bill 2004 was presented as the
Janaagraha (version) Participation Law in Dec 2004 by Ramesh Ramanathan
(founder and Campaign Coordinator Janaagraha) at the conference Indian
Institute of Management-Bangalore workshop had any or ministry or agency of
the GoI sanctioned it ?
Was it commissioned by the GoI or any of its ministries at that time?
If any of us are interested in this issue then lets ask some questions and
any answers???
more soon
