[Urbanstudy] DH Articles on road widening

Today's edition of Deccan Herald contains more than a full page on the 
impacts of widening roads in Bangalore. The article about tomorrow's 
cancelled public consultation on tree felling (over 500 old avenue trees 
are proposed to be axed) is on the front page, and other articles are on 
page two.

Being a Sunday edition, it is likely to impact public discussion quite a 
bit.  It is a cause for concern, though, that the issue is still 
perceived as green vs. brown.  And there is little or no focus on 
fundamental rights that are being violated with impunity.

Notice that the BBMP is now scheming to implement this overall mega 
project incrementally.  A bit here and a little bit there, literally.
