This is today's urban India, a country where the elite argue for car
parking rights on public land (not their basements mind you) over the
housing rights of the poor. Glad the Court has dismissed this PIL with
costs. .. and established once more the primacy of housing rights of the
poor.

"...few residents of Malleswaram seeking a direction to the authorities
concerned to reserve a public land for parking and challenging the
construction of houses for slum-dwellers there."
