part of the Mehrauli Collective are exploring the resilience and
regeneration of historic areas. They are together organising series of
urban workshops in Mehrauli for multidisciplinary graduate and postgraduate
students as well as young professionals.
Audible Landscapes of Mehrauli is the first of this series of workshop and
will be conducted near Adam Khan's Tomb from 6th till 7th August. Seats are
limited.

*Audible landscapes* is a two day workshop on creative placemaking that
utilises an interdisciplinary approach by intersecting art & design
practice with concepts of space within the public domain. Hosted in the
historical neighbourhood of Mehrauli, the workshop will result in a
temporary art installation in a public park near Shamshi Talab.
Participants will be invited to explore the varied points of intersection
between art and spatial perception through 3 modules:
BREAK led by Mrinalini Aggarwal (Streetlight

will introduce the pure form archetypes of space that are repeated within
public spaces of cities; ABSORB led by Priyanka Jain (3x3 Design
<http://3x3.us3.list-manage1.com/track/click?u=2ffeae4423a9e669d5c47aedd&id=c80a70ff71&e=b8c3ce0b03>)
will introduce journey maps as a tool to capture the experience of the
community; and INHERIT led by Virkein Dhar will introduce the body as a
means to define spatial experiences.
