[Urbanstudy] Films and DVDs about Cities, Urban Problems (and Solutions) and Urban Theory

[Joel Outtes]

Colleagues,

I am preparing a list of films, videos and dvds about cities, urban problems
(and its solutions), and urban theory; so I would like to ask you to suggest
films and documentaries about cities, urban theory, spatial segregation,
urban environmental problems, sustainability, housing, etc. I would like to
know where I could borrow or even buy this material for use in the
classroom.

I recently received an email from a colleague about a Laboratory of
Educational Technology at UEL- Universidade Estadual de Londrina, State of
Parana', Brazil, where they produce videos, some of them about the subjects
in question. Would anybody know about similar initiatives in other
universities worldwide? In positive case, could you please pass me the link
of the webpage and/or comment on your experience with this material in case
of having used it?

Please feel free to forward this message to colleagues who could contribute
with this query. I will be happy to share the resulting list with colleagues
that reply with suggestions.

Greetings from

Joel Outtes
