Dear Ranjan,
Welcome aboard! We used the term images in the widest possible sense...and
ofcourse that includes films of any duration, on any format and in any style
that the film maker wants to adopt.
The films do not have to be on Gujarat. Gujarat unfortunately is the most
recent and horrific evidence of the politics of hate.In fact the idea of Aaj
Ke Naam initiative was to have the widest possible set of images that
respond to /analyse  different aspects(hopefully) of   communal/fascist
politics .
You are most welcome to use existing material to edit a piece for Aaj Ke
Naam...
We all would love to hear more about what you are planning and your
tentative schedule...we do hope to have a set of films together by the end
of August.
