I don't think any problem could be with WPC, but rather with the unspecified list of approved vendors, who may or may not offer you the possibility - even though your system is already in place and functioning. Almost certainly, their approval will have an impact on the final clearance. 

But it will be good to have a precedent, once you are approved.

Hi All,

I was wondering if there is any restrictions by the WPC in the way we 
connect our studio to the transmitter (radio tower).  We are planning
 to 
use one of the deregulated wifi frequency (2.4GHz or 5.8GHz) link to
 our 
transmitter. The only reason being that we don't have any place below 
the transmitter to have our studio.

All comments and suggestions are much appreciated. By the way, TCV had 
the IB enquiry 2 months ago for our CRS application.
