    'You people are involved only in viewing T. V., do elders rebuke for doing this? And do they tell you for learning of pleasing Deena bhadri.
  'For what, 'they will rebuke, they too watch along with us, we young people manage all the expenses and they all too enjoy the viewership without any expenditure.'
  'Then what will happen about pleasing the Deena-bhadri?'
  'Jisko sauk hoga woh to seekhe jaayega pura basti Bhagta thore hi ho jaayega' (one who is eager to learn this will eventually learn. Entire locality will not turn into Bhagat (worshipper) ). Along with elders, though they (young Mushars) take immense pleasure in viewing but this is not the case with Sawarns of Mithilanchal, Indira Gandhi's funeral ceremony, world cup final, Ramayan Serial and during these types of so-acclaimed big programmes (Is this why so-called big people watch these prograqmmes?) and this too in those days when T. V. sets were very few, this type of collective Sawarn participation was evident otherwise, amongst only Sawarn teenagers view it collectively and elders most after shows annoyance with this.
  Sawarn elders talk about ill-effects of these medium on their children alongside on people of lower caste.
  Here it is not irrelevant to recall famous paroxym of Mithilanchal according to which brahmin's subservience is responsibility of 'younger among brahimns and healthier among shudras' (Babhanak chhot aur Raarak mot i.e. Brahmano ke chote aur Shudron ke tagde) and exactly these two sections of society are those who are making their private time used only by themselves through seeing T.V. and V.C.D. collectively. 
  Once in the field of their master and on the roof of Dalit's houses Santosh Radio was blowing in full volume and challenging Sawarns. Sawarns had made several tactics for tackling this challenge.   And, today Dalits are securing their time completely for themselves, expending some rupees, and Sawarns are in majority amongst people who make available C.D.'s etc. for this on rent, although with a bit of heartache.
